2024 Family Reunion Itinerary

Its time to catch up on all the old news about our aunts and uncles and nephews and cousins! Time to meet and greet family we’ve known all our life and to welcome brand new ones. Family Reunions are times to cement our bonds and celebrate our roots. What better time to interview our older relatives, to update our family history, to take photos to share and for posterity, to tell the family story and to get everyone excited about and involved in preserving our family’s history? The descendants of Randal (daddy) and Nancy (Susie) Hopkins, born 1829 in Georgia will gather in Thomasville, Georgia this July 12, 2024 through July 14, 2024 for our reunion, your presence is requested.

All contributions to the reunion are by donation. We ask all who can to contribute, but that is not required to attend.

Shirts will be available in person at every family reunion event, starting that Friday at the Family Breakfast.

We are ordering a very limited amount of extra shirts, for those who could not preorder. We ask all who can to preorder to guarantee you get a shirt in your desired size.

Saturday, at the family picnic

If you plan on swimming at the Family Picnic at the YMCA, please bring swimwear and a towel.

ANYONE! We have friends of family members travel from all around the world to celebrate our family with us. It’s a lovely time.

The short answer, yes, limited. Most of the food prepared, however, is prepared like it was 60 years ago at the beginning of the family reunion.

Family members are spread all over Thomasville. The Best Western is a newer viable option, but most hotels and motels are within close vicinity to each other, and within 10-15 mins of all family reunion locations.
